Job Summary
H/She will be responsible for managing key accounts, maintaining a long term relationship with accounts and maximizing sales opportunities within them.
This position focuses on building customer alliances, establishing and maintaining product market leadership and achieving short and long term sales objectives by identifying customer needs and providing solutions to create a professional relationship.
Responsibilities
Identify and develop key accounts in assigned territory.
Follow up on identified key accounts.
Engage with key stakeholders within identified key accounts.
Develop customer plans including all trade related activities.
Be responsible for achieving sales objectives short term, medium term and long term.
Implement strategies, execute activities and evaluate promotions results.
Act as the key interface between the customer and all relevant divisions.
Requirements
A Bachelors’ degree in science related subject. A degree in Pharmacy is a plus.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
Previous experience in Account Management or Territory Sales and display an attitude that is key to success.
Strong account management and relationship building skills.
Experience of managing major national accounts at head office level.
Highly self-motivated.
Willingness to travel.
