Job Description
Reporting to the Head, Network Operations, the successful candidate will drive business growth and expansion by the acquisition of new customers and retention of existing customers for the business’ products and services.
This will include applying research and data in generating intelligence and insights to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities will be to:
Develop the company’s sales, account management and business development strategy and ensure alignment with corporate strategy and business goals.
Provide guidance, support and direction to the team in carrying out their functions.
Identify strategies, objectives and action plans to improve short and long term sales earnings.
Communicate sales strategy, direction and objectives to team members.
Identify opportunities for business from new and existing customers.
Make use of insights from market research to inform strategy and direction and also strengthen decision making process.
Lead efforts to identify new needs that can be developed into new products or services and facilitate the development of new solution offerings.
Analyze sales performance results and develop initiatives to bridge any possible gaps.
Identify strategies, objectives and action plans to improve short and long term sales earnings.
Learn what the competition is doing in terms of positioning, customer experience, pricing, their alliances and credibility.
Key Requirements
A good first degree or its equivalent in the Social Sciences or Sciences from a reputable Institution.
Possession of an MBA will be an advantage.
A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a similar role.
Proven knowledge in competitor analysis and market research.
Good knowledge of account management and sales and business development
Good understanding of management, operational and supporting processes.
