Summary of Position
This position is local position and opens to indigenous and/or legal residents of Nigeria.
The IT Engineer assists students, faculty and staff to maintain, repair and configure laptops and desktops.
IT Engineer is responsible for general maintenance of University’s desktops and laptops in line with stipulated policies and procedures.

Position Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from a recognized tertiary institution.
Minimum of 1 (one) year post NYSC experience working as an IT personnel
Advanced knowledge of university supported applications.
Ability to learn and support new technologies.
Possess high level interpersonal communication skills.
Working continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate)
Certifications in MCSE, CCNA and others are preferable.
Other Requirements, Abilities for the Position:
Ability to develop a work schedule, set goals, creates / implements actions plans and monitor progress towards goals.
Skill in developing and maintaining effective working relationships.
Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy confidentiality.
