Requirements and Qualification
Candidate must possess a qualification in Food Science and Technology or Home Economics or any related field of study.
A minimum of 4 years experience in a good school environment is generally required.
Candidate must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Evidence of outstanding professional practice to include; attainment profile of students taught, personal profile of professional development, up-to-date and excellent subject matter expertise.
Computer literacy and evidence of the use of ICT to support learning
Hard work, dedication to duty, use of initiative and ability to go the extra mile is generally required.
Candidate must have the proven ability to shape student learning and behaviour and engage, guide and motivate student.
Candidate must have prepared students for WAEC and produced excellent results.
High integrity and ethical standards
Willingness to participate in Co-Curricular activities.
Applicant must be skilful at lesson planning, presentation and assessment.
