Job Description
Inspect vehicle engine and electrical components to diagnose issues accurately
Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade
Develop test procedures and test moving vehicles
Supervise the process of manufacturing, installation, and operation of vehicles
Inspect vehicle for defects
Engineer attributes of an automobile
Produce visual interpretations of automobiles and their parts
Select materials for production
Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity
Schedule future maintenance sessions and advise motorists on good vehicle use
Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks)
Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance job
Keep logs on work and issues
Design and test parts for moving vehicles
Design, manufacture, and operate engineering subsystems
Use mechanical, thermodynamic, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical principles to resolve engineering problems
Build prototypes
Investigate electrical failures
Select and purchase appropriate materials
Prepare cost and timing estimates.
Requirements
FSLC qualification with a minimum of 2 years of work experience.
