As a result of forming a new JV engineering operation in Nigeria with Dover Engineering, JWG Nigeria Umited is now looking to employ engineering professionals into our Lagos office. Opportunities exist for an Operations Director, Engineering Manager, Project Managers and key Lead Discipline Engineers.
The JWGN management team will be responsible for all aspects of setting up and managing a new engineering office based in Lagos, Nigeria. This will include the full roll out and implementation of the Wood Group Management System, the mentoring, training and development of an engineering team, proposal &. erR development, as well as technical integrity and project execution. candidates will preferable have gained experience in the Brownfield environment during international assignments experience. A managerial background with a proven track record training and mentoring along with an in-depth knowledge of the Wood Groups iMAP system Is essential.
Position: Manager of Projects (Subsea)
Requirements
HNC or equivalent in Engineering and 8+ years managing projects in Brownfield O&G engineering environment. Must have proven subsea experience delivering Conceptual Studies / FEED’s /Detailed Engineering projects up to $20m. Vital skills in the following areas: HSE Leadership, Project Management Planning, Budgeting and Cost Management & Project Risk Management
Position: Lead Subsea Pipeline Riser Engineer
Requirements
Degree Qualified Engineer with associated undergraduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering. 5+ years experience in Brownfield O&G engineering environment. Must have proven track record in the developing the designt specification and services related to subsea facilities for floating productions, tiebacks to existing facilities or stand-alone developments. Also responsible for riser systems, controls systems, subsea hardware (trees, valves, manifolds, pumps, etc.) subsea structures, umbilical and flow lines and concepts for subsea processing, pumping and production systems.
