Principal Responsibilities
The lsDB is seeking a high caliber and results-oriented professional whose primary responsibilities are to carry out the identification, appraisal, supervision and administration of its financed operations under the Urban Development & Services Division at the Headquarters.
The professional will assist in articulating the development of water supply and sanitation (WSS) sector strategies and policies in Nigeria and elsewhere.
S(he) will work according to the general policies, principles and goals of the lsDB and in close collaboration with internal and external project stakeholders.

Required Education & Experience
Advanced educational qualification (M.Sc / PhD) in relevant discipline from a reputable Institution
Minimum of 5 years cognate experience in the relevant sector(s)
Planning, processing and monitoring of the work program of the Urban Development and Services Division in Nigeria
Review project request., in consultation with the Country Programs Department at the Headquarters for the identification of WSS projects in Nigeria
Understanding of the urban and sanitation issues in Nigeria, the region and developing countries as a whole
Grasp of trends in WSS sectors and their implications on lOB operations
Excellent presentation, analytical, negotiation and leadership skills;
Strong knowledge of French and Arabic languages would be an added advantage.
