Job Description
CRS is recruiting for the position of Advisor, Producer Services (several positions) for an upcoming agriculture project in Nigeria, which is contingent on donor funding.
The Advisor will provide advisory services to farmers and partner agribusiness staff, and training and information to help them comply with value chain requirements, strengthen their business capacities, and deepen project impact.
The Advisor will also gather product and region specific information to help agribusiness and value chain service providers to anticipate demand and the needs of producers. He/she will recruit new farmers, provide business development services and trade support to farmer groups and liaise with other project teams.

Requirements
The Advisor should have at least a first Degree in Agriculture, Development Studies or related qualifications and more than 5 years’ experience working with producers in commercial value chains.
