Job Description
The Manager of Human Resources provides leadership and coordination of all Human Resources functions within the Lagos division and develops and implements Human Resource strategy and programs.
The HR Manager will partner with business leaders to support the communication and transition plan on change initiatives impacting the business, workforce planning, performance management and salary review process.
Also possess current knowledge and understanding of regulations and applicable laws regarding human resources as well as other duties as assigned or directed.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Include:
Development and oversee the communication of various human resources plans, programs and policies.
Maintain current knowledge and understanding of regulations, industry trends, current practices, new developments, and applicable laws regarding human resources.
Workforce planning (acquisition, maintenance and retention of critical skills.)
Manage Expro’s annual performance and salary review process.
Undertake HR project work in order to meet the needs of client groups (e.g. organization restructuring, redeployment, policy development and implementation).
Act as senior level advisor on human resources issues to management and all level of employees throughout the company.
Identify legal requirements and regulations affecting human resources functions and ensure policies, procedures and report are in compliance.
Assist managers and employees in interpretation and application of human resources policies, procedures to ensure understanding and rationale.
Engage international offices to communicate HR initiatives and deliverables.
Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

Strong interpersonal savvy and composure especially in critical situations. Business acumen or ability to quickly acquire business knowledge
Proficient in all Microsoft Office Products
Education
Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related field.
Experience:
Thorough knowledge of principles and practices of human resources management, administration and organization.
Knowledge of laws affecting human resources administration required
Extensive experience in employee relations (conducting workplace investigations and preparing EEOC responses).
1-2 years related experience required.
