Job Description
Examine systems to locate problems, such as loose connections or broken insulations
Test backup batteries, keypad programming, sirens and all security features in order to ensure proper functioning and to diagnose malfunctions
Mount and fasten control panels, door and window contacts, sensors or video cameras and attach electrical and telephone wiring to connect components
Install, maintain or repair security systems, alarm devices or related equipment following blueprints of electrical layouts and building plans
Inspect installation sites and study work orders, building plans and installation manuals to determine materials requirements and installation procedures
Test and repair circuits and sensors, following wiring and systems specifications
Demonstrate systems for customers and explain details, such as the causes and consequences of false alarms
Provide customers with cost estimates for equipment installation
Consult with clients to assess risks and to determine security requirements
Keep informed of new products and developments

Requirements
A degree/HND in Electronics, Electronic engineering, Electronic Technology etc
A minimum of second class lower degree/equivalent
Must be resident in Lagos
A minimum of 2 years cognate experience

Desired Skills:
Good practical skills for using a variety of hand and power tools
Good problem solving skills
An interest in electronics
The ability to follow plans and instructions
The ability to work alone without supervision as well as part of a team
Good communication skills for explaining how systems operate
