Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Procurement and handling of the purchasing needs of the company.
Examine business trends and markets and attempt to get the greatest value
Manages the data base of the merchants
To assist the Procurement manager to monitor the performance of suppliers and to ensure contractual obligation are adhered to
To ascertain the availability of Products from Merchant.
Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power
Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking
Determine quantity and timing of deliveries
Develop leads and execute procurement strategies
Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from any reputable institution.
2 years working experience in any related field.
Skills:
Excellent communication skills
Must be analytical, strategic and thoughtful with an ability to make recommendations and influence outcomes
Relationship Management
Ability to multi-task.
Ability to work without supervision
Proficient in data analysis and Excel
Negotiation skills
Salary
N75,000 to N100,000 Monthly.
